Girls Build is an organization that encourages girls to learn the basics of building, including carpentry, plumbing, electricity, concrete and much more! Girls have fun with other girls their age, and learn from skilled female instructors. We met with a group that was participating in a Truebeck Construction fence build to talk to them about the electrician trade and electrical safety. We also gave them each a Squires sticker for their hard hat, a tick tracer, and a tutorial on how they are used. We love seeing young people being introduced to the trades, especially with ones that aren’t traditionally seen in those professions. Thank you, Girls Build!
